Obituary

Teresa DePalma 96, of White Plains, N.Y. died on May 24, 2022 at her residence. She was born on Feb. 22, 1926 to the late Giuseppe and Rosaria (nee LaGuaragniella) Piscopo in Bari, Italy. She worked as a seamstress for various dress factories in Westchester County prior to retirement. She was an avid cook who also loved caring for her grandchildren. Teresa was pre deceased by her devoted husband Giuseppe in 2020. Teresa is survived by her son Vito DePalma of Ossining, NY, her daughters Angela DePalma of Yonkers, NY, Tonia (Benny) Cipriano of White Plains, NY, also survived by her six cherished grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, her brother Vito and sister Anna from Italy. Teresa is predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Tuesday from 9-10:30 AM. Funeral Mass, St. John the Evangelist Church, White Plains, NY on Tuesday 11 AM. Entombment, Ferncliff Mausoleum, Hartsdale, NY to follow.
