Aaron Dabbah, beloved husband, loving father and supportive friend, unexpectedly passed away on January 16th, 2023, at the age of 50. He is survived by his spouse Miriam, his son Luka, his brother, and parents.
Born in Ohio, Aaron was a long-time New Yorker who enjoyed working as a principal systems analyst at the New York Public Library. The library was the perfect place for him, considering his restless intelligence as well as vast love of words, storytelling, and history. This intellectual curiosity is evident in the blog he maintained, EsoterX. What he was most proud of was his son Luka who brings joy to everyone in his path. He was a friend to everyone he met and never encountered a problem that he wouldn't work hard to solve. His friendliness, easy-going personality, irreverent wit, and mischievous charm will be missed by everybody who knew him.
His memorial service will be held shortly near the NY Public Library. In lieu of flowers, the Dabbah family would appreciate donations in Aaron's honor to either the ASPCA or The LongView School in Brewster, NY.
